Armenia Reaches "Point of No Return" with CSTO, Ruling Party Lawmaker Declares
On August 17, Artur Hovhannisyan, a lawmaker from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's ruling Civil Contract faction, announced the de facto freezing of relations with the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). Speaking to journalists at the National Assembly, he confirmed that Yerevan has completely suspended practical ties with the Russian-led military alliance.
