Armenian PM and Foreign Minister meet with U.S. Congressman Abraham Hamadeh

U.S. Congressman Abraham Hamadeh, a representative of the lower house's committee on military affairs, held meetings with Armenia's top leadership. On August 18, he was received by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, while the government's press office also reported on his negotiations with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Development of bilateral relations and partnership

During the conversation with Nikol Pashinyan, the dynamic development of ties between the two nations was emphasized. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation across economic, political, and technological sectors will continue to expand. In turn, the American lawmaker expressed gratitude for the warm reception and stressed the importance of deepening dialogue at the parliamentary level. The parties also discussed the ongoing implementation of the TRIPP project.

At the meeting with Ararat Mirzoyan, officials highly praised the current momentum of the comprehensive U.S.-Armenian strategic partnership, which is yielding concrete results in various fields. As a prime example of this effective cooperation, the diplomat and the Congressman highlighted the creation of a new data center by the tech company Firebird AI. As noted by the Armenian source, the establishment of the

Peace process and regional issues

The normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan was a central topic during the meetings in Yerevan. The officials focused their discussions on the following areas:
