Severe Storm Floods Homes and Downs Trees in Gyumri, Armenia
On August 16, a severe storm featuring heavy rainfall and strong winds struck Gyumri in the Shirak region, flooding residential basements and courtyards. The extreme weather also damaged trees and tilted a power pole, prompting a rapid response from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Rescue Service to mitigate the damage.
