Acba Bank Surpasses 1 Million Issued Cards, Cementing Leadership in Armenia's Financial Market

According to data published on August 17, Acba Bank, one of the largest financial institutions in Armenia, has held the top position in the country's payment card market for over five years. The bank leads both in the number of issued cards and the overall volume of transactions.

Transaction Volume and Statistics

During 2025, the total value of payment transactions executed using the bank's cards exceeded 1.9 trillion drams. This figure highlights the strong trust customers place in the bank and the active daily usage of its cards. Notably, by May 2026, the total number of cards issued by the institution had already crossed the 1 million mark.

Payment Systems and Regulatory Oversight

The bank stands out by offering cards from five different payment systems while actively servicing cards from six systems. This flexibility provides customers with a wide variety of payment options, ensuring seamless transactions both within Armenia and internationally.

The financial institution operates under the strict regulatory supervision of the Central Bank of Armenia. Moving forward, Acba Bank plans to continue expanding its card services, focusing on delivering secure, convenient, and internationally compliant financial solutions to its clients.
