Armenia Records Significant Growth in Passenger and Cargo Traffic in 2026

Throughout 2026, Armenia continues to demonstrate positive dynamics in passenger and cargo transportation, according to reports from various international organizations.

EAEU Indicators and Armenia's Leading Position

According to data from the Eurasian Economic Commission—the regulatory body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)—total passenger traffic within the union increased by 0.5% in the first half of 2026. On a national level, the following growth rates were recorded among member states:

• Armenia: 7.3% growth,
• Belarus: 7.2% growth,
• Kazakhstan: 5.1% growth,
• Kyrgyzstan: 4.9% growth.
